First draft released:
After interviewees cancelling last minute and numerous hits to the project a rough first draft has been submitted to the EPQ board at Peter Symonds College. Notes for improvement so far is a better narrator, two in-person interviews and stronger B-Roll footage.
I was part of a small team that created a zine in memory of deceased Internet Personality Etika (Desmond Amofah). JoyConBoyz Forever was a nonprofit, collaborative project to celebrate the life of Desmond “Etika” Amofah. We compiled and designed a paperback 7.5x6" “zine” or art book featuring over 125 original art pieces and messages from fans of Etika’s to keep the memory of him alive, as well as creating something that fans can physically have with them to remember him by. All proceeds were donated to NAMI, a mental health organization.
Specifically I helped with technical support regarding the formatting of the zine as well as creative input to the designs and arrangement of art and write-ups.
We reached are purchase goal and got support from Etika World Network, an impressive accomplishment for the team.
